DESCRIPTION: Antique long guns - G. Pfeiffer of Cincinnati, American Percussion Drillings Rifle, circa 1865, 12 gauge shotgun barrels and a .30 rifled barrel, steel trigger guard with two triggers that operate both shotgun barrels and the rifle barrel, lock plate and hammers are a dull gray with floral engraving, plain tang, American walnut stock with inset brass patchbox, 25-1/4 round Damascus shotgun barrels with gold inlaid signature at top reading "G. Pfeiffer in Cincinnati," bottom rifled steel barrel, gold bead front sight with rear flip peep sight, rifle measures 43 inches in length and weighs approximately 10 pounds, includes soft protective gun sock.
CONDITION: Good action, double functions properly; excellent overall cosmetic condition, fine bore with hardly any oxidation, metal surfaces have aged a pleasing dull gray, small dings and fine scratches are scattered about walnut stock as well a small crack near the tang and on the underside of the stock near the butt, excellent rear sight; smooth trigger guard.
